Team Facilitation
What is team facilitation?
The art of facilitation is more than the power of presentation.
Good presentation skills keep your audience engaged, but the art of facilitation allows others to discover, learn, grow and change.
Through innovative group exercises, these facilitated workshops will take your team to a new level of understanding, growth, and accountability designed to create a more interconnected work group, no matter what the objective is.
Often meetings are not as effective as they could be. Agendas get lost in endless discussion, tension takes over, and people shut down, check out, or overpower others. Julie can help you facilitate small group meetings to reach a desired objective. The length of the following sessions vary depending on number of participants, your specific objectives, and customized content. Contact Julie to discuss details for your group.
An Inter-Connected Team: A Day in the Life of Another Work Team
Transform the way your departments see one another.
Often we get so stuck in our own responsibilities, tasks, and day-to-day work that other people and departments become easy targets for our common frustrations. Over time, that mindset narrows our ability to see the bigger picture—that we are all here to succeed.
This three-hour*, eye-opening session challenges individuals and teams to move past their assumptions and beyond their work scope to consider how they can create success for everyone.
This powerful “INNERview” session gets people out of their boxes and into the shoes of other departments in the company.
Participants gain greater understanding and insights into each other’s roles, pressures, and deadlines, and together they create ways to ease each other’s burdens and create more success for all. This is real teamwork.
*This can be facilitated with a group of 10–40 people and is typically a 3–4 hour session.
The Power of Recognition: Transforming a Culture One Person at a Time
Do your employees feel that they are valued as individuals and as an important part of your work team?
The real power of recognition lies in recognizing employees as individuals.
For many businesses, creating a more connected team that knows how to be resilient is a missing business strategy.
Julie facilitates a powerful session* that allows people to see the best in others, see the best in themselves, experience the transforming work of Real Recognition in the workplace, develop future strategies as a team to create an infused culture of recognition, and begin to transform the way people see each other.
*Usually a 2 – 3 hour session.
Using Innovative Methods to Team Problem Solve
Do you want your team to work creatively and focus together on solving problems?
Julie will use creative methods to help your team think, share, create, and learn through facilitating group exercises that identify real problems and get everyone involved in the process.
During the session* your team will learn how to break bigger issues into identifiable themes and workable solutions. The team will categorize these areas and begin to apply strategies and options to tackle barriers to their productivity and efficiency.
All participants will be engaged in thinking, sharing, creating, and learning strategies for better problem solving. What seem like overwhelming problems will be broken down into doable action steps that your people will be invested in carrying out.
*This session is best for a group no more than 15 people and is typically between a 3.5 – 4.5 hour session.
